Andy Bosomworth

Dodge Coronet

Bozzy used to be the young Super Stock rookie. Not quite a rookie no more, although he is younger than your average American Super Stock driver (-not that any of them could be described as 'average'!). His sweet '69 Dart Custom had its original 273ci V8 and the Bozz was dialing in low 17s.

But the Boz really got bitten by the bug. After just half a season's racing in his Dodge Dart, he went on the prowl for some more muscle and aquired a '66 Dodge Coronet with a 440 and 727 tranny, a good solid car that just needed a coat of paint.

A coat of paint? So the Boz, formerly known as 'that quiet lad' got together with Dave Billadeau and the Coronet sports period-style paint and eye-spanking graphics.

A delighted Andy now has his car running in the 12s too. And as if that weren't enough, Bozzy gone steelies on back and Torque Thrusts on front -the finishing touch, just like some of the super stock cars back in the 60s! Old school!
