Trevor Cadman

Camaro 454ci

Trevor's '73 Camaro is an original Z28, with the engine upgraded in Florida to a 454 cubic inch big block Chevy. So far, mods to the motor include a mild hydraulic high-lift cam, roller rockers, high-rise intake manifold and 750cfm double pumper Holley carb, headers and 3" straight through exhaust pipes; all else is standard 454 under the all original body.

The Camaro has a 3:73 posi rearend, Centerline wheels, 7 x 15 fronts and 10 x 15 rears with Hoosier tyres. Trevor has owned this very sweet Z28 since 2006. It's fully road legal and Trevor is a guy who drives to York to race and drives home again; taking full advantage of how good it is to have a nice quick car that you can use!

Trevor's best ET so far is 13.25 at 101mph

Trevor may be a newcomer to racing in a straight(ish) line, but did you know he is an ex-BRISCA F1 and V8 Stock Car driver. His career spanned 1979 to 1996 and he became Supreme Champion in 1988 and British Champion in 1992. "So I'm new to drag racing, just starting to find my feet," adds Trevor, "hopefully I'll have as long a career in drag racing!"

We hope so too.
