Dave Rushforth, a.k.a. Drag Racer Dave is taking a break from racing his Mustang II for the 2009. He had a horrific attack from a dog which tore off his index finger from his right hand. The clever hospital sewed it back on and things are going very well. Our best wishes to Dave.

However, Dangerous Dog Dave (as he will be known for the 2009 Season), will be handling the A/SS editorial for 'Classic American' magazine. Dave has got lots of diverse knowledge about drag racing; and how to go about it and how to win. So we can expect he will be pointing the finger too. So Dave will still be keeping his hand in A/SS at York (better than keeping it in a dog's mouth!). We look forward to reading Dave's handiwork in 'Classic American'.

We understand that Richard Smith will be handling the photography, no doubt with his usual consistent excellence!
