When VAT was cut from 17.5% to 15%, the Darling Chancellor added 2% to fuel duty to make up some of the shortfall in tax revenue. This was kept very quiet of course. Now the VAT has been restored back to 17.5% the Chancellor's earlier 2% has not been removed, making the VAT on fuel 19.5%. Sneaky or what. Sign the petition against this government scam here, expose it and tell your friends they should be signing it too.

Perhaps if we keep our receipts, Mr Darling might give us a refund too.
